ABOUT

Hey, I’m Tejanshu Bhandari , a Computer Science and System Engineering student at KIIT, Bhubaneswar, with a minor in Semiconductors and Emerging Technologies — because writing software is fun, but embedding it into silicon? That’s next-level. When I’m not taming TensorFlow or debugging until the coffee runs out, I’m diving into hardware-level logic, optimizing traffic systems with ant colonies, or building gesture recognition models that actually get you. My work blends deep learning, embedded systems, and real-world impact — think of it as System.out.println("Innovation") but in real life.

What Drives Me?

I thrive on bridging software with silicon, theory with action, and ambition with application. I'm always open to meaningful collaborations, open-source work, or a conversation about whether AI can beat assembly.

"In a world full of undefined behaviors, I choose to be deterministic."

Why Me?

  • I speak fluent C, Python, Java, and sarcasm
  • I've wrangled ARM architecture and survived
  • I don't just build projects — I publish them (hello IEEE )
  • My ML isn’t just theoretical — it predicts oil markets and detects malware
  • And yes, I believe good code should be clean, readable, and a little smug

Whether it's a SpringBoot API, a sign-language detector, or a grid-fault classifier, I bring engineering discipline and creativity that compiles — without warnings.

Projects

  • Real-Time Sign Language Detection

    Tech Stack: Python, OpenCV, TensorFlow
A computer vision system trained on custom gesture datasets to recognize and convert sign language into text. Integrated with webcam for live predictions.

  • Ant Colony Traffic Optimization

Tech Stack: Python, ACO (Ant Colony Optimization), Graph Theory
Implemented a bio-inspired traffic optimization algorithm to minimize congestion and improve urban traffic flow. Includes visual simulation tools.

  • Task Manager API

    Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot
Designed a RESTful API backend that allows users to perform CRUD operations on tasks. Scalable and ideal for integration with frontend task apps.

  • Oil Market Predictor

    Tech Stack: Python, Logistic Regression
A predictive analytics tool utilizing economic indicators to forecast optimal oil purchasing strategies, complete with data visualization dashboards.

Achievements & Certifications

Proof that the grind pays off.

Organisation Paper Name

Also

  • Top 10% – ICDCIT Hackathon Recognized for AI-driven innovation in a national-level coding contest.
  • JP Morgan Quantitative Research Internship (via Forage) Completed simulated financial modeling tasks and data analysis pipelines.
  • AWS Cloud Architecting Certificate Completed foundational AWS training for cloud deployment and architecture.

  • You speak in JSON and sarcasm
  • You’re down to build something weird and useful
  • You want systems that don’t just run — they systumm.

Brief

Just another caffeine-fueled CS&SE undergrad at KIIT University, trying to code my way out of existential dread. Not a prodigy, but I speak Java fluently, dabble in Web Dev wizardry, flirt with Machine Learning, and occasionally whisper sweet nothings to assembly code. Jack of many trades, master of... we'll find out.
